The mad Gold Coast fisherman who thought it would be a good idea to go shark diving in the ocean with only a tiny birdcage says he is thinking of renovating the "dog house" his wife has put him.
Shaun Harrington, 27, and his twin brother Dean decided to film some "extreme cage diving" with sharks in deep waters 1km off shore at Snapper Rocks.

But in an interview with Karl Stefanovic on Today, Harrington admitted his cage diving stunt was "not the smartest thing" that "sort of went wrong for us".

The stunt was a "joke" played on Mr Harrington by his brother and some friends who stood around and laughed at him when he tried to get out of the water.
Stefanovic admitted that he thought the stunt was "funny" but was "torn" about the risks and criticised Mr Harrington for the sheer stupidity of the stunt.
"It could have taken your leg off," Stefanovic said.
"I'm pretty much in the dog house," Mr Harrington said, adding wife is not talking to him.
"I'm thinking of renovating the dog house at the moment and putting a pool table in there.”
Mr Harrington said he knew the shark - which had been landed by a professional fisherman friend - was in the water when he jumped in but he hadn't expected the 2.4m beast to "come at" him.
"I just thought, 'I gotta get out of here’," Mr Harrington said. "I saw the shark coming and threw the budgie cage in front of it and it just bounced off it."
"I thought I would just jump in, get a couple of shots and hop out but the thing just went crazy.
"It wigged out and came at me. It's probably one of the dumbest things I've ever done."
The massive shark can be seen appearing from the deep blue and darting straight toward his legs.
Shaun - you're gonna need a bigger cage.
