A furious Roberta Williams has reportedly threatened to headbutt gangland lawyer Zarah Garde-Wilson.
Williams, the ex-wife of convicted killer Carl Williams, is devastated her glamorous old friend had not phoned to say she had given birth to a child, believed to be a daughter named Samantha, two weeks ago, the Herald Sun reports.
In a stunning verbal tirade yesterday, Williams hurled insults at Ms Garde-Wilson and accused her of forsaking their friendship after realising Williams no longer had any money.
"I hate her livid guts," Williams was quoted as saying in the newspaper.
"I made a promise to her, when I see her I am going to hurt her. I tell you, I would like to give her a nice head-butt."
Williams said she and Ms Garde-Wilson were once best friends, even offering the lawyer refuge when her then boyfriend Lewis Caine was shot dead in 2004.
But Ms Garde-Wilson had abandoned the friendship "when she realised I was poor" and set about restoring her own image, Williams said.
The gangland lawyer returned to work yesterday only a fortnight after giving birth, reportedly turning up at the Melbourne Magistrates Court in trademark garb including a short skirt and black stilettos.
She refused to comment on Williams's comments to the newspaper.
