A Sydney flight attendant who had a secret love child with Dean Jones says she wishes he would pay more child support.

Kerri-Anne Hamilton, who had a nine-year-affair with the married cricket legend, told A Current Affair that he had never met the child they had together.

She claimed that Jones is currently paying her the minimum amount of child support permitted by law.

"He has the means and the capacity to make it a little bit easier for me," she said.

"And that's what makes me angry or upset or disappointed I guess."

Jones, 49, has been married to wife Jane for 24 years and they have two teenage daughters.

Hamilton said that although she felt that her relationship with the cricketer was wrong, she was in love with him.

"The way I felt when I was with him ... That was right, that wasn't fake it wasn't anything but right," she said.

"I do still love him ... But I'm disappointed in him."

She said she is clinging onto hope that Jones will pay more child support.

"You know ... I'm not asking for astronomical amounts of money," she said.

"I just want to be able to live and provide for my child, like any other mother in the world wants to.

"I think that's a fair and honest request."

Jones, who was named Father of the Year in Victoria in 2007, was stripped of the honour today after admitting the affair.

"From now on, 2007 will simply show as blank — that's our attitude," the Herald Sun reported Father of the Year Council president Don Parsons as saying.

"To take off and have a love child, and that he hasn't even seen the child ... we are somewhat rocked by it."
