A woman has been charged with the murder of a man in the inner-Sydney suburb of Potts Point.
Police were called to a hotel in Macleay Street at about 9.40am (AEST) on Saturday after reports that a man had been assaulted, and found the body of a man in one of the rooms.
A 28-year-old woman was taken to St Vincents Hospital for treatment and was later taken to Kings Cross Police Station where she was charged with murder.
She has been refused bail and is due to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
The dead man, believed to have been aged in his 30s, has yet to be formally identified and a post mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of his death.
