A Geelong woman who describes herself as a "pagan princess" has been jailed after driving 190m with a policeman hanging out of her car window.

Eilish De Avalon, 40, was driving with a suspended licence and talking on her mobile phone when she was pulled over on February 23, the Geelong Advertiser reports.

De Avalon told Senior Constable Logan she was "a being from another world" with a "universal name" that she would not disclose.

"Your laws and penalties don't apply to me. I'm not accepting them, I'm sorry, I must go, thank you," police quoted De Avalon as saying.

De Avalon then drove off with Sen-Const Logan's right arm trapped in her side window.

Magistrate Stephen Myall yesterday rejected De Avalon's defence that she was in an "autonomous" state.

She was jailed for two months with another four months suspended.

She also received a fine of $1250 and had her licence disqualified.

De Avalon lodged an appeal against the sentence and conviction and was granted bail.

The woman told ninemsn last month she shunned media reports which described her as "a witch".

"I don't wear the label of witch comfortably," she told ninemsn.

"A lot of witches prefer the title of pagan, or in my case pagan priestess. We are healers. We are psychics."
