A 67-year-old man stabbed in the chest during a domestic dispute in the Kimberley town of Halls Creek has died in the Royal Darwin Hospital.
Police were called to a house in Halls Creek early on Wednesday morning when they found the man bleeding from his chest.
He was taken to Halls Creek Hospital and then flown to the Royal Darwin Hospital, but he died later that day.
Police have charged the man's 38-year-old daughter with grievous bodily harm but say further charges could be laid after a post-mortem examination.
