Chk-Chk-Boom sensation Clare Werbeloff's turn-of-phrase has made its way into federal parliament as a catchword for shameless attention grabbing.
The 19-year-old's false account of a Kings Cross shooting in Sydney last week has sparked tens of thousands of YouTube hits and she now has her own publicist.
"There were these two wogs fighting," Ms Werbeloff told the Nine Network.
"The fatter wog said to the skinnier wog: 'Oi bro, you slept with my cousin.' And the other one said: 'Nah man, I didn't for shit, eh', and the other one goes: 'I will call on my fully sick boys, eh.' And then pulled out a gun and went 'chk-chk-boom'."
The teenager's bid for media attention inspired Infrastructure Minister Anthony Albanese in question time on Monday in an attack on Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull.
"Last week, Clare Werbeloff shot to international fame after she went to extraordinary lengths to get herself in front of the camera, in front of the camera, to give a grab, to get that few minutes of fame," he said.
"But unfortunately when you look for the substance it wasn't there ... just like the leader of the opposition."
Mr Albanese criticised Mr Turnbull for voting against the government's $42 billion stimulus package, then turning up to an announcement in April that $2 million of the funds would be spent on a pavilion at Waverley Oval, in Mr Turnbull's electorate.
"I wrote to the leader of the opposition and suggested that he might like to come along," he said.
"Now you would think that, you know, (out of) a sense of doing the right thing, he'd be too embarrassed ... to come along," Mr Albanese said.
"There was no element of embarrassment, of course, the leader of the opposition was there faster than you can say 'chk-chk-boom!"
