More than a dozen juveniles have been caught in the two-day Operation Unite police blitz in Queensland.

Queensland police charged 613 people with scores of offences during the nationwide operation against alcohol-fuelled violence and anti-social behaviour.

Of those charged 14 were juveniles.

State police minister Neil Roberts said 1100 uniformed and plain-clothed police officers patrolled entertainment and social hot spots across the state.

"Police arrested 267 people and issued 230 notices to appear for a total of 613 charges. Of those charges, 14 related to offences committed by juveniles," Mr Roberts said in a statement.

"Police officers visited 1,903 licensed businesses and detected 29 licensing breaches.

"Officers also furnished 28 liquor incident reports and issued 158 liquor infringement notices."

Deputy police commissioner Ian Stewart said more than 10,707 random breath tests were conducted with 175 drivers detected drink driving.

"During Operation Unite police took 676 people to a place of safety, issued 190 move-on directions and conducted 1,461 street checks," Mr Stewart said.
