Hundreds of thousands of packs of popular Smith's potato chips have been recalled after pieces of rubber were found in some of them.
A spokesman for Smith's Snackfood Company said the voluntary recall of a day's production was a precautionary measure, following the discovery of pieces of rubber in some packs produced at the Queensland manufacturing plant.
"The rubber may pose a choking hazard," the spokesman said.
Anyone with the packs should not eat them and should take them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
