Golf club billboard promises "unlimited sex"

Gold Coast Country Club general manager Craig Baldwin can see the funny side after a prankster re-arranged some letters to give one of his advertising billboards a risqué twist.

Mr Baldwin said the sign was changed during Schoolies Week last month and went unnoticed for a couple of days until an amused motorist let him know.

"It went from 'golf expo' to 'unlimited sex'," he said. "I think it did get a bit of interest from the traffic driving past."

Mr Baldwin said it was the first time it had happened.

"We all had a bit of a laugh about it," he said.

"It was very creative of someone to do that and probably got our golf course more advertising than the standard sign we had there."
