A Logan couple have blamed a hoon epidemic after a car smashed into the front of their house — for the fifth time.

A Holden Commodore came crashing through the wall of Sharalyn Norris's front bedroom just after 9am this morning.

"He's hit it so hard that the tiles on both sides of the house have lifted and they say they expect the back to collapse when they move the car," Ms Norris told Nine News.

Had the crash happened any earlier something more precious than bricks and mortar could have been damaged.

"I was just in there dressing my granddaughter right exactly where it happened," she said.

This is the fifth time the Norris family have had a car career through their front fence and residents say the area's becoming a Mecca for hoons.

Drugs, cash and a firearm were seized from the car.

Its driver has been charged with dangerous driving, drug and weapons offences.
