Shane Warne appears to have proven his love to former wife Simone Callahan, who left him after a series of embarrassing revelations about his extra-marital affairs.
The couple are reportedly setting up a love nest in the exclusive Melbourne bayside suburb of Sandringham.
The $3.35 million house was purchased by Warne in July but in what could be a metaphor for his marriage, he is now planning to bulldoze the lot and start from scratch.
While the old house is a modest, red brick affair with a sweeping drive, lawn and trees, his new home will be markedly different, with a planned underground car-park, home cinema and pool.
The purchase is being viewed as a renewed commitment by the off-again, on-again couple to work on their marriage.
The relationship has been rocked by numerous scandals, including allegations that Shane Warne romanced several women on different continents via text message.
The couple, who revived their romance late last year, are yet to publicly comment on their reunion.
They divorced several years ago, then got back together, before splitting again and finally reconciling in December.
Callahan and the couple's three children, Brooke, Jackson and Summer, have moved into Warne's current eco-friendly Melbourne property.
