State Emergency Service (SES) workers have been kept busy since Thursday responding to calls for help as wild storms swept across Victoria.
Over 700 VICSES volunteers have answered more than 1,150 requests for help from businesses and homeowners whose properties were flooded or damaged by fallen branches.
A trough of low pressure entered western Victoria on Friday afternoon and progressed across the Mallee, Wimmera and Western Districts and then across the central parts of the state.

Overall, the central region was the hit the worst with the suburbs of Eltham, Doncaster, Nunawading and Narre Warren experiencing significant damage from flash flooding, fallen trees and damage to buildings.
