Hardship funds are being made available to flood victims in two additional parts of northern NSW.
The federal government on Wednesday added Walgett and Brewarrina to a list of locations eligible to claim natural disaster assistance following January's severe flooding.
On Tuesday, the NSW government extended natural disaster declarations to Brewarrina and Walgett.
NSW Emergency Services Minister Mike Gallacher said the regions were two of the hardest hit by recent flooding.
Federal assistance has already been extended to Liverpool Plains, Ballina, Upper Hunter, Gloucester, Clarence Valley, Coffs Harbour, Inverell, Nambucca, Kempsey and Tweed shire, Bellingen, Byron, Kyogle, Lismore and Richmond Valley.
