A US TV reporter shocked audiences this week by asking a woman who interrupted a live broadcast how long she had suffered from a sexually transmitted disease.
Jessica Sanchez, a reporter for Orlando Local 6 News, was in New Orleans covering the lead-up to the NFL Super Bowl when a woman approached her during a live report.
The woman, who appeared to be intoxicated, waved to the camera and said "California" and "Forty-niners," in reference to the San Francisco 49ers football team.
Ms Sanchez seemed irritated by the disruption and told the woman she was doing a report on the neighbourhood's STD rate, asking: "how long have you had an STD?"
"I don't have an STD," the stunned woman told Ms Sanchez, before asking: "are you serious?"
"That's so disrespectful," she said.
"You can see what I've been having to deal with out here,” the young reporter told audiences after her impromptu interview was over.
She went on to say that street cleaners had come down the street and it smelled "like someone vomited a car freshener out here."
