February 07, 2013: A Victoria’s Secret worker who was attacked with acid has broken down on a British morning show and appealed for her attacker to come forward.

Two people have been arrested after acid was thrown in the face of a lingerie shop assistant.

Naomi Oni, 21, was left with horrific burns to her head, neck, arms, legs and body after she was attacked as she walked off a bus in London on December 30 last year.

The part-time model and Victoria's Secret store assistant claimed it was an unprovoked assault by a woman wearing an Islamic niqab.

Today Scotland Yard announced they had arrested a 21-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

The woman was arrested last Friday and the man was held yesterday — but both have since been released.

Police said they had tracked down some witnesses to the attack but there were others in the area the night of the attack that could also help.

Recent reports had suggested police were looking into the possibility that Ms Oni had deliberately disfigured herself.

"I've only just come out of hospital after having surgery on my eye," she was quoted in the Evening Standard as saying.

"To see this story saying that I'd done it made me so angry and really hurts.

"I want the person who did this to be caught."
