Former Today Tonight host Naomi Robson's new talk show program has already been marred with controversy after her manager deleted an entire section from her Wikipedia page.

Robson's new program — the online, daytime-TV-style talk show LoveLife — premieres on February 8, some four years after she finished hosting the east coast version of the current affairs program.

The 46-year-old's tenure on Today Tonight was punctuated by scandal: she wore a lizard on her shoulder during a show dedicated to Steve Irwin's death, was caught on tape swearing about her auto-cue and was arrested while trying to rescue an Indonesian boy from cannibals.

But Robson's agent Max Markson deleted all references to those and other infamous moments from her Wikipedia past last Monday, telling ninemsn he did so because the entries were "libellous".

"The problem you have is that Wikipedia is very, very false ... it's not fair on people and there's no reason why there should be wrong things up there," he told ninemsn.

Markson said Robson asked him to delete the entries and that she "didn't like looking at the site".

Among the other deleted entries was a link to a stinging profile piece by newspaper journalist Amanda Meade and allegations Robson had a relationship to a man embroiled in a high-profile drug-related court case.

But the moderators put the deleted material back online at least four times and have now blocked the page from being edited by new or unregistered users for one day.

"Max, be aware that when removing sourced content you should have a good reason," moderator Slac said.

Another moderator said the entries were put back up because "there are sources to back up the instances and the section should not be completely removed".

Markson said he would keep deleting the entries: "I'll just keep taking it off and explaining why."

Robson's LoveLife program, created by her production company Little Frog, sees her turn agony aunt and giving advice about love, sex and relationships — even thought she is not in one herself.

In an interview with New Idea magazine released this week, Robson said she was not seeing anybody.

"I guess the reason why I'm not 'hooked up' is simply I haven't taken the time," she said.

"I have great friends and great family — I tend to spend a lot of time with them.

"I'm not going out in a social scene where I'm meeting guys."

The LoveLife program will air online on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
