Giant shark stars in spectacular light show

A giant white shark and two playful dolphins are the latest underwater creatures to feature in a spectacular light show that takes place each year in Japan.

The images are projected onto a wall of water measuring 15m-high and 40m-wide in Tokyo as part of the Odaiba water illumination show.

Other images include dancing fish, colourful clouds, a whale and the maoi figures from Easter Island in the Pacific.

The show takes place each night until April 11. It is set against the Rainbow Bridge, a suspension bridge which is located in northern section of Tokyo Bay.

Images in past shows have included a spinning globe, a giant elephant and two swans that interlocked.
