A cross-dressing reality show contestant has become an online sensation after giving an extraordinary singing performance mimicking the sound of a horse.

The contestant, BM aka Big Mouth, stunned the judges and audience of Pilipinas Got Talent when he unleashed a ferocious-sounding "neigh" during his debut performance on March 7.

Wearing an outrageous outfit, BM astonished the audience as he contorted his face and repeated the noise several times while performing the song "Banal na aso".

"[Those are] the most perfect horse sounds coming from a human being I have ever heard," said one of the hosts backstage.

The judges later heaped praise on the singer from Manila and unanimously sent him onto the next round.

"The costume of course is stunning but the performance is even more breathtaking," said Kris Aquino.

Fellow judge Ai-Ai de las Alas described the performance as "frightening".

Footage of the performance has gone viral in the last 24 hours with hundreds of thousands of people viewing it on YouTube.
