Penguin drives dog crazy

Dogs are known as man's best friend but a video posted online shows the loyal creatures also have a penchant for penguins.

A video filmed at a UK zoo last year shows an excited dog scratching frantically at the penguin's enclosure as the bird swims up and down the tank gazing at the canine.

The dog then proceeds to lick the glass, wagging it tail at top speed, with surprised spectators laughing at the inter-species interaction.

YouTube commenters have debated whether the dog was in love with the penguin or wanted to eat it.
