Three people have died and 20 others are missing after the side of a mountain in north China came tumbling down, burying more than 10 homes, state press says.
Rescuers have dug out about 20 survivors of the landslide in Shaanxi province, which took place shortly after midnight, and were continuing to search for the missing, Xinhua news agency said.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the landslide.
