A group of air hostesses from the now-defunct Spanish company Air Comet have stripped nude in a campaign to win unpaid wages from the airline.

The flight attendants posed provocatively inside a plane for the calendar, which was designed to raise awareness of their pay struggle.

Air Comet went bankrupt in December last year, and the hostesses claim they were not paid for up to nine months before it officially shut down.

The air hostesses hope to earn money from the calendar and pressure Air Comet into finding a solution.

"We are just demanding our rights to receive what is ours, we each have eight or nine months of unpaid salaries," flight attendant Adriana Ricardo said.

“We have produced the calendar because we don’t want society to turn over the page and forget what has happened to us."

The company reportedly owes 672 staff a total of $10.3 million, just a small fraction of its overall debt of $236 million.
