A massive typhoon has torn through the coast of South Korea, whipping up huge tsunami-like waves that flooded city streets and left at least one person dead.
Typhoon Sanba made landfall in Korea on Monday with winds of 156km/h.
As it moved north up the coast, the typhoon blazed a trail of destruction that left more than 250 people homeless and completely destroyed six houses, according to the Central Disaster Relief Agency.
