A man who knocked a an unsuspecting 16-year-old girl unconscious in brutal unprovoked attack that was caught on CCTV told a London court "she didn't have a friendly face".
Michael Ayoade, 34, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm for the vicious sucker punch that was filmed in Plaistow on November 13.
He pleaded guilty yesterday admitting to police: "I had too much to drink and smoke that day."
However, Ayoade has claimed that his victim was responsible for the attack.
"She started it, she didn't have a friendly face," he said.
"She made me feel like a pauper with her facial gestures."
The girl suffered bruising, cuts to her head and face and chipped teeth after she was king-hit from behind as she walked down a street near the Black Lion pub.
After the attack the girl said she hoped her attacker would be caught so he couldn't harm anyone else.
"I hope I am his last victim," she said.
The teen was only 500m from her East London home when she was attacked.
Ayoade was remanded in custody and awaits sentencing.
