A live Peruvian TV dance contest was cancelled mid-broadcast after a model suffered a nasty fall, diving face-first into the stage when a bamboo prop broke.
Delly Madrid was performing the complicated group routine on El Grand Show, a dance competition that pairs celebrities with amateurs, on Saturday.
Footage shows the model pull herself up onto a bamboo pole held by two other dancers when it suddenly snaps, sending her plunging into the stage.
Madrid is seen crouching over and clutching her head before suddenly collapsing as the other dancers rush to her aid.
One of the contestants then asked for paramedics to be called, according to local news service RPP Noticias.
A clip of the incident was re-played for viewers before host Gisela Valcarcel announced that the rest of the broadcast was being cancelled.
"I do not know what to say, you have seen it. There's no more dancing. What we want is to go out to be next to Delly," she said in Spanish.
Madrid suffered a muscle contusion and edema in the brain and has been ordered to wear a neck brace for several weeks.
But the model was just thankful she was not more seriously injured.
Several days after the incident she told reporters that "I could be paralysed, quadriplegic, or [have] died on the spot".
