December 09, 2012: Yann Frisch is an award-winning French magician who has spent a lifetime perfecting this single trick.

An award-winning French magician is winning fans online after spending a lifetime perfecting his own version of the classic cup and balls magic trick.

Yann Frisch won the title of Champion du Monde at the 2012 Beijing International Magic convention last month.

Video of him performing at the event has attracted more than 979,000 views since it was published online on December 1.

The footage shows Frisch shuffling a number of red balls around on a table at an incredible speed, seemingly making them vanish and reappear.

Frisch, who first started juggling at the age of 10, describes his performance as "absurdist".

Unlike most modern magicians who generally come across polished, Frisch adopts a confused, odd-ball character for his sleight of hand trick.

October 27, 2012: A US magician has filmed himself scaring people with a surprisingly realistic Halloween stunt that sees him sneeze his head off his shoulders.

Frisch is not the only magician to have recently found fame online.

In October a US illusionist won fans with video of a Halloween trick in which he appeared to literally sneeze his head off.
