Police have raided a London bar after it was allegedly caught serving a whale skin flavoured cocktail called the "Moby Dick".
The Wildlife Crime Unit confiscated a sample of the "whale skin infusion" cocktail from Nightjar bar in Hoxton, east London, on December 3 after receiving a tip off, police said.
Whale meat is illegal to sell in Europe under European Union protection laws.
The bar's menu described the cocktail as a "whale skin infusion" with Laphroaig whisky, Drambuie, ale and bitters.
A spokesperson from Nightjar told the Sunday Times they were unaware the cocktail contained an illegal ingredient and said it had been removed from the menu.
