An English mother who climbed into her young son's highchair as a joke ended up being the punch line after having to call the fire brigade for help when she became trapped.
Serena Curtis was drinking at her Oxford home with a 27-year-old girlfriend, Jade Dickerson, when her chair prank went awkwardly wrong, The Sun reported.
The 31-year-old mother-of-three, whose children were being looked after at the time, struggled for an hour to get out of the highchair before deciding to call for help.
Ms Dickerson took photos of her friend's embarrassing ordeal as the firefighters helped remove her from the chair.
"I'm glad the fire brigade realised it was an accident," Ms Curtis said.
"I was so embarrassed. I just had a dressing gown on, but luckily part of the chair was hiding my face."
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue confirmed a crew had responded to the call-out.
