A US reporter has been hailed a true professional after he seamlessly dodged a kiss from a passing man during a live cross and kept on reporting.
Brian Mullahy, a reporter with Utah television station KUTV, was reporting live from Salt Lake City last Monday when a man walked past him and tried to kiss him on the cheek.
The quick-thinking reporter dodged the kiss and said to the man: "Hello, nice to see ya," before continuing his report.
It was not until the end of the report that Mullahy made mention of the exchange again, when presenters in the studio praised his professionalism.
"Who's smoother than you?" a female presenter quipped.
"You didn't flinch when that guy tried to kiss you out there on the street," a male presenter said.
The unruffled reporter joked back: "That's the best kiss I've had all day."
