A British man masquerading as a guru healer has been jailed for 10 years for sexually assaulting two women who came to him for guidance.
Michael Lyons, 52, created a group of predominantly female followers and preached open sex among them, The Sun reports.
Lyons referred to himself as Mohan Singh and some of his followers believed he could cure cancer and had x-ray vision.
He was convicted at London's Wood Green Court of the rape of one woman during an initiation ceremony and the sexual assault of another he was treating for back pain.
Lyons was acquitted of another three rapes and a sexual assault.
The court heard the self-styled mystic told one victim he had an "organic manhood", used bases in the UK and Miami and had a team of attractive female and several male devotees who would recruit targets for initiation ceremonies.
Authorities in the US are considering laying charges against him, with one internet report claiming he may have abused more than 300 women in the US.
Judge Nicholas Browne, QC, jailed Lyons for seven years for rape and another three for the sexual assault, and he has been banned from touching any female he has known for less than six months.
