Tiger Woods 'dating ex-wife lookalike'

Tiger Woods has reportedly started seeing a 22-year-old university student who resembles his ex-wife.

The golfer has been dating Alyse Lahti Johnston, who is 13 years younger than him, for a few months, and the pair have been spotted on Woods' yacht, leading sports blog TerezOwens reports.

The young blonde, whose stepfather is an executive at IMG, the sports agency that represents Woods, is said to be a budding golfer herself and has been spending a lot of time with Woods in recent weeks.

Johnston is attending the Ohio-based Northwood University, which has a campus in West Palm Beach, Florida near Woods' new $60 million bachelor pad, the Daily Mail reports.

The student is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but is now living in Florida.

She was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the US last year, which was later downgraded to a lesser charge of reckless driving.

According to RadarOnline, Johnston's biological father is former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jeff Lahti, and her stepfather, Alistair Johnston, is a senior executive at IMG.

Mr Johnston and Alyse's mother reside for half of the year at their estate in Windermere, Florida, the same exclusive area where Woods has a home.

And a source told the celebrity gossip website that the new girl on the scene is training for the LGPA Tour and wants to become a golfer.

The news comes after Elin Nordegren was reported to have purchased a Florida beachfront mansion larger than the golf superstar's nearby island estate home.

The Palm Beach Post said the 30-year-old Swedish former model, who divorced Woods last August, spent $12.2 million on a 17,000-square-foot home built in 1932. The home has eight bedrooms and is in a gated community near North Palm Beach.

Last week, Woods said he would soon move into a $60 million beachfront mansion at Jupiter Island, 16km from his ex-wife's new place.

Nordegren and the couple's two children, three-year-old daughter Sam Alexis and two-year-old son Charlie Axel, are expected to move into their new home in the next few weeks.

Woods' five-year marriage ended in 2009, after a bizarre car crash outside his mansion in Windermere, Orlando.

Numerous women then came forward claiming to have had adulterous affairs with the sports star.
