Train collision injures 50 in Madrid

A commuter train backing up slowly into a Madrid station has hit another train and slightly injured 50 people, Spain's national railway company RENFE says.

A RENFE official says around 10 of the injured were taken to a hospital to be examined but no one was seriously hurt in the rush-hour accident in Aluche, a Madrid suburb.

Service into Madrid along that line has been suspended.
