Flight attendants on board a Finnair flight to Delhi have surprised passengers by breaking into a Bollywood dance in celebration of India’s Republic Day.

The attendants took to the aisles wearing colourful Indian costumes in honour of the country’s national day on January 26, which marks the date on which the Constitution of India came into force.

The dancing on board the overnight flight from Helsinki to Delhi was filmed and uploaded to the airline’s YouTube channel.

The video, which has so far attracted more than 200,000 views online, is one of several in a line of “dancing flight attendant” clips that have gone viral on the web.

Last Christmas, flight attendants from the Cebu Pacific airline made headlines after presenting their safety demonstration while dancing to Mariah Carey’s hit song “All I want for Christmas is You”.
